We deliver delicious meals to every patient’s room according to the diet prescribed by your doctor. We also provide dining services for visitors to our facilities.

University of Missouri Health Care offers several dining options to patients and visitors. Learn more about the menu options and nutrition information for each of our dining locations below.
Atrium Cafe at Missouri Orthopaedic Institute
The Atrium Cafe currently is located on the first floor of the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute.
Atrium Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday
The Bistro at Missouri Orthopaedic Institute
The Bistro is open on the second floor of MOI and offers grab-and-go salads, pastries, coffee and smoothies.
Bistro Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Essentials at University Hospital
Essentials is located in the lobby on the first floor by the Green elevators and offers a wide range of made-to-order items as well as featured daily entrees.
Essentials Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, including holidays

The Grill at University Hospital
Grill Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Grill’s (current and upcoming weeks)
The Grill, is located on the West end of the hospital on the ground floor and offers personal pizzas, grab-and-go salads/sandwiches.
Madison Cafe at Capital Region Medical Center
The Madison Cafe is located on the second floor of the Madison Building.
Cafe Hours: 6:30 AM -2:30 p.m. Daily
Monday - Friday
Breakfast - 6:30 AM - 10:00 a.m.
Lunch - 11 :00 AM - 1 :30 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday
6:30 AM - 2:30 p.m.
Grab & Go items available only
Vending machines available 24/7 next to cafeteria.
TJ’s Cafe
TJ’s Cafe is located in the lobby of Children’s Hospital.
The cafe offers made-to-order hamburgers, entrees and sandwiches as well as kid friendly options.
Hours of operation: 6:30 AM - 4:00 p.m. every day of the week.
ExpressPay
Employees can make convenient purchases at our dining facilities with ExpressPay. Staff members can pay with their ID badges and receive a 10 percent discount on all purchases.
Express pay offers two convenient options:
- Declining balance - add funds to your account at any of our retail locations using your Visa or MasterCard.
- Payroll deduct - open only to MU Health Care employees.

GET Mobile
Dining and Nutrition Services has partnered with GET Mobile to offer employees the ability to order ahead at UH Essentials and the Grill, and MOI Atrium Café. Employees can order ahead via an the GET app or through the website.
You may also download the app to your mobile device via the Apple store or the Google Play Store.
Please note the following:
- Due to fees associated with the platform, the 10% discount offered with ExpressPay at retail locations is unavailable for orders made via GET.
- This service requires a PawPrint to log in and is not available to patients or guests who do not have a PawPrint.
