About Me
I was born and raised right here in Columbia and am very close to my family. My family means the world to me. One of our family mottos is “we Figge things out” because that’s just who we are. My hobbies include reading, writing, video games and cuddling with my fur babies (three cats and a dog).
About My Role
As a patient navigator, my job is to make things easier for our patients. Some ways I do that are acting as a second set of eyes and ears at their appointments, encouraging patients to ask their care team questions and getting patients in touch with the right people or resources. I always make sure my patients know they can call me with questions, and I will help find answers. I think of my job as being a "professional friend" for our cancer patients.
Favorite Part of My Job
I love that I am able to make a difference for our patients by making a cancer diagnosis a little easier for them. I'm happy to help ease as much of their stress as possible.
Culture of YES
I live the Culture of YES by going above and beyond the call of duty to make our patients’ journeys with us as smooth as possible.
