About
David Streitman, MD, is a board-certified maternal fetal care expert who has more than 30 years of experience in caring for mothers and their babies during pregnancy, and a decade of experience as a maternal fetal interventionalist.
Dr. Streitman helps families who experience complicated pregnancies manage risks while providing care to improve the outcomes for mom and baby. He offers care for conditions including placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), external cephalic version (ECV) to prevent breach birth, transvaginal and transabdominal cervical cerclage to reduce the risk of miscarriage or premature birth, and expert care for operative vaginal delivery and multifetal vaginal delivery.
Becoming a doctor was a lifelong goal for Dr. Streitman, and he often feels like the profession chose him, not the other way around. His favorite part of his work is the patients and families he gets to help. Dr. Streitman’s care style begins with a focus on listening to each person, and he helps each patient understand the problem they are working to solve together.
In his spare time, Dr. Streitman enjoys playing saxophone and listening to jazz. He is also a hobbyist woodworker. Dr Streitman and his wife have several adult children, and a farm they hope to retire to that includes three horses, a dog, cats and chickens.
