Jessica Hughes, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who is certified in family nursing and wound care nursing. She offers outpatient treatment for chronic wound management for patients who have venous disease, arterial disease, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers or acute injuries that the body cannot heal on its own.

Jessica decided to become an advanced practice provider (APP) to be able to offer more access to specialized wound care in her community after working as a nurse in a wound care clinic. She enjoys the role APPs play in all types of patient care and working as part of a team with patients and caregivers to provide a collaborative, successful and sustainable chronic wound treatment plan.

Jessica and her husband have two children and three dogs. She loves spending time with family and friends outside of work.
