Nicole Shields is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP-BC) who provides well woman care to women from puberty through menopause, including prenatal care, sexual health and contraceptive care. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse doing high risk OB, including critical care, for 16 years prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse (APRN.

Shields loves talking to patients and learning about their lives because understanding their circumstances and values helps her support patients in meeting their health care goals.

Outside of work, Shields enjoys reading, drawing and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband have twins and three cats, including two Maine coons.
