MU Health Care Physicians Named to ‘2017-2018 Best Doctors in America’ list

Seventy-five MU Health Care physicians in 60 specialties have been named to the "2017-2018 Best Doctors in America" list by Best Doctors Inc. Approximately 4 percent of U.S. physicians are named to the list, according to Best Doctors Inc.

“The physicians included in the ‘Best Doctors in America’ database provide the most advanced medical expertise and knowledge to patients with serious conditions – often saving lives in the process by finding the right diagnosis and right treatment,” the organization’s announcement said.

Since 1989, Best Doctors has conducted one of the largest ongoing peer physician polls in health care to identify the physicians other physicians trust most. The survey starts by asking: “If you or a loved one needed a physician in your specialty, to whom would you refer?” Complete information about the selection process can be found at the Best Doctors website.
