About

Dr. Kinney represents the third generation of otolaryngologists in his family. His father and grandfather also treated conditions of the head, neck and throat, and his father was one of his medical professors. His family went to the same medical school and graduated in the same century. Dr. Kinney completed his training at The Cleveland Clinic and came to MU Health Care, an academic health system, to become a professor to follow in his father’s footsteps. Like his father, Dr. Kinney developed a passion for the medical and surgical management of ear problems including dizziness. He also has an interest in treating common childhood ear, nose and throat problems such as ear infections, tonsil infections and sinus issues.  He’s been caring for patients here for more than 20 years and enjoys treating all ages — newborns to centenarians.
