About
Drew M. Cox, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon who offers robot-assisted minimally invasive surgical approaches to treat a range of conditions, including hernias, gall bladder and bile duct (biliary) disease, colorectal disease and breast disease.
Dr. Cox chose to become a doctor because he has always been interested in helping others, and chose to become a surgeon because that skillset would allow him to help people in their greatest moment of need.
Both Dr. Cox and his wife are from Kansas City, Missouri, and they are excited to move closer to family and back to Tigers, Chiefs and Royals country following his training in Florida. He enjoys family time at home and golf in addition to cheering on the local sports teams. The Cox family includes two duck tolling retrievers and three cats that keep things busy and interesting.
