Deepak Alapati, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who has a decade of experience treating patients for a variety of mental health conditions, specializing in addiction, including opioid dependence management and quitting tobacco. He is also passionate about providing mental health care for the LGBTQ community.
In his practice, Dr. Alapati puts his patients at the center and believes in shared, community-oriented decision-making while understanding the limitations patients face and the challenges they deal with in their lives.
In his personal life, Dr. Alapati never outgrew his childhood fascination with dinosaurs and is a proud nerd who likes trivia, crosswords and all kinds of word games. He enjoys spending time with family in St. Louis and Los Angeles, as well as hobbies including reading, gardening, performing arts, history, travel and amateur astronomy. He also has a cat named Peaches who tends to boss him around.

Deepak Alapati, MD, MPH, is a physician and researcher who specializes in psychiatric care for addiction treatment.
