About

Daniel Au, MD, is a urologist and urologic surgeon who helps patients treat and manage conditions of the urinary tract. He offers general urology care and specializes in kidney stones and benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) treatments — using minimally invasive techniques including holmium laser prostate treatments HoLEP and HoLAP and Aquablation, a prostate treatment using high-pressure water. Dr. Au also uses other minimally invasive procedures such as robotic surgery to treat other urologic conditions including genitourinary cancers.

Dr. Au’s care philosophy is to empower patients to make the right decisions for themselves and their health. By knowing what is important to his patients, he can understand their goals while designing treatment plans and give patients the information and support to reach those goals.

Outside of his practice, being outdoors is Dr. Au’s main hobby. Currently, he is working on an off-road vehicle to expand where he can go and what he can see. He is also the proud owner of Chewie, a goofy 90-pound Bernedoodle.
