Beatriz Fortaleza, MSN, is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who offers care for patients who have mood disorders, anxiety disorders or are looking for tactics to help with coping and stress management.
 
Beatriz is bilingual and looks forward to offering mental health services to both English and Spanish speakers in Jefferson City. She became an advanced practice provider because she has a passion for helping people who have been through traumatic experiences or mental health challenges that are difficult to manage on their own. She takes a patient-centered approach, working closely with each patient to achieve their goals. 

Outside of work, Beatriz enjoys reading and exercising. She, her husband and their son enjoy spending time together and watching Mizzou sporting events. The family has a Chihuahua named Lucy.
