About

Arwa Mohammad, MD, is an OB/GYN and gynecologic oncologist who helps women treat cancers of the reproductive system including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and endometrial hyperplasia, cervical cancer and cervical dysplasia, and vulvar and vaginal cancer and dysplasia.

Dr. Mohammad became a doctor to help people who are dealing with scary and difficult health issues by putting the individual needs of her patients first. As a mother herself, she understands the stresses and joys of starting a family and carries that compassion to each interaction with her patients.

Dr. Mohammad enjoys cooking and baking in her free time, and she and her husband love the outdoors, particularly hiking and kayaking.

Research Profile

Arwa Mohammad, MD, is an OB/GYN and gynecologic oncologist who specializes in female reproductive cancers. Her previous research has focused on understanding the use of the Clavien-Dindo classification of surgical complications in patients who undergo surgery for ovarian cancer. Dr. Mohammad is also interested in research regarding ovarian cancer surgery outcomes and complications, as well as further understanding how to mitigate the immediate and long-term effects of chemotherapy on patients’ quality of life.
