Traumatic injuries are the NUMBER ONE KILLER of young people in Missouri.  
Each year, nearly 6,000 people in Missouri sustain a brain or spinal cord injury.  These injuries result in permanent disabilities that have no known cure.  Survivors are faced with years of rehabilitation, lifelong disabilities, and catastrophic medical bills. 
PREVENTION is the ONLY cure!
    
ThinkFirst Missouri is an award-winning trauma prevention program of the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. It serves as an affiliate chapter of the ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation.
