Parking
Visitors may park free of charge in the four-level parking garage located at the east end of University Hospital. If the parking garage is full, you may be directed to a surface lot located south of the hospital. Please contact Guest Relations if you receive a parking ticket in error.

Banking services
Boone County National Bank is located on the west end of the main floor. Hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The bank offers an automatic teller machine, CIRRUS and BankMate service, MasterCard/Visa cash advances and notary service.

Members of the Mizzou Credit Union may use the Credit Union Exchange (CUE) machine located across from the Human Resources department in the west end of the main floor. The CUE machine also offers CIRRUS and BankMate service.

Security, lost and found
Report all lost or found articles to Security and Parking Services, (573) 882-7147, Room N-122.

Vending
Soda machines are available on all patient floors as well as in the main lobby. Snack vending machines can be found in the hall immediately outside the cafeteria and cafeteria exit doors. These are available 24 hours.

Restrooms
Public restrooms are located near the elevators on Floors 4 through 7, in the main lobby across from the outpatient clinics and between the Mason Eye Clinic and the Cosmopolitan International Diabetes Center, in the west end of the main floor, in the SameDay Surgery Center waiting area, and on the ground and first floors of McHaney Hall.

Beeper service
A special beeper service is available for visitors who are waiting to hear about patients who are in surgery. Please inquire at the Information Desk in the main lobby.

Patient e-mail
Friends and family can send an e-mail to a patient.

Internet access 
Wireless internet service is available from your wireless device in patient rooms and waiting areas.  For questions or support, please contact Hospitality Services at (573) 882-8220.

Worship services
An interdenominational service is held in the chapel at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday. The hospital chapel, located in the west end of the main floor, is open 24 hours a day.

If you wish to see a chaplain, rabbi, priest or minister of your faith, please call Pastoral Care at 882-2236 (dial 2-2236 from inside the hospital). When the office is closed, dial 0 and ask the hospital operator to page the chaplain.

Reading materials
Hospital volunteers provide a cart stocked with complimentary books and magazines for your reading pleasure. If you would like to have the cart stop by your room, please ask your nurse to call Volunteer Services.

Mail and flowers
Hospital volunteers deliver mail, packages and flowers to patients Monday through Friday, except on U.S. Postal Services and University of Missouri holidays. You can mail letters by giving them to a hospital volunteer. Postage stamps are available by the booklet at the Medtique Gift Shop in the lobby. Volunteers will purchase postage stamps at your request. Mail received after you go home will be forwarded to you.

Patient Safety Net
University Hospital allows you to submit comments via the Internet. The Patient Safety Net is designed to provide rapid response to customer comments and can be accessed through our website at muhealth.org. Look for the prompt "submit compliments and complaints" on our home page, and you will be provided instructions on how to enter your comment. Your comment is immediately forwarded to the appropriate personnel for acknowledgement and resolution.
