Carl Freter, MD, earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis and completed his residency at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in California. He performed his fellowship training at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Freter is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, fellowship trained in hematology. His clinical and research interests include bone marrow transplant, breast cancer, hematology (blood disorders), Hodgkin's Disease, leukemia, brain tumors and lymphoma. |

After a Research fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation he completed his training in Robotic Urology at the Vattikuti Urology Institute at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. His special interest is in urological cancers including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer and kidney and ureteral cancers.
