COLUMBIA, Mo. — Ellis Fischel Cancer Center’s fourth annual Artful Bra Contest reception and silent auction presented by Joe Machens Dealerships will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Missouri Theater, 9 S. Ninth St., Columbia.

Community members and contest participants will have an opportunity to view the winning decorated bras, as well as the other creative entries. During a silent auction, supporters can bid on the bras, with the proceeds supporting breast cancer patient programs at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center.

Additionally, a drawing will be held at the event for a sterling silver ribbon motif pendant valued at $1,000. Tickets for the drawing will cost $10 for one or $20 for three. The pendant was donated by KT Diamond Jewelers.

Previous “Decorate-A-Bra” contests have raised approximately $19,000 for breast cancer patient programs at Ellis Fischel.
