COLUMBIA, Mo. — A Decorate-a-Bra fundraising reception to benefit Ellis Fischel Cancer Center will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, in the main lobby of Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, 115 Business Loop 70 West.
Individuals are invited to donate a unique, entertaining or humorous work of art for the contest.
The Oct. 6 event will feature a display and silent auction of the donated entries and a wine and cheese reception. Winning entries will receive a ribbon and prizes.
Admission to the event is $30. Those who enter a bra will receive one complimentary ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased in advance or at the event.
The deadline for submitting an entry form and $30 entry fee is Friday, Sept. 17. Decorated bras must be delivered to the lobby of Ellis Fischel Cancer Center between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, or Wednesday, Sept. 29. To view and download entry forms, please visit www.ellisfischel.org/.
