Clinic referrals and appointments Clinic referrals and appointments to Missouri Digestive Health Center can be made by calling (573) 884-7600, option 1. Phones are answered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. CST.
Prescription refills Patients should ask for prescription refills at the time of their clinic appointments. However, if a patient runs out of a medication before their next scheduled appointment, he/she may call Missouri Digestive Health Center at (573) 884-7600, option 2.
Endoscopy Services at University Hospital and Missouri Digestive Health Center at University Physicians-Fairview Clinic To schedule a screening colonoscopy, please call (573) 882-1434, option 1 or toll-free at (866) 442-8685. Please note: It is very important that the colon be completely clean for colonoscopy procedures. At Missouri Digestive Health Center and University Hospital, we use split-dose preparations in which half of the bowel prep is given the day of the procedure. The two most common bowel preps are: Colyte Split-Dose Preparation; and MoviPrep Split-Dose Preparation.
