Dr. Roger de la Torre
Chief, Division of General Surgery

Dr. Roger de la Torre joined our health care team in 2004 as a General Surgeon and Bariatric Surgeon. He is one of the first to ever complete a Roux-en-Y Divided Gastric Bypass laparoscopically and helped to develop the technique used most often to perform this procedure. He has not only pioneered our "Stealth" surgery, but has also been instrumental in making in a variety of surgical advancements. He currently holds over 50 patents, mostly for surgical devices or methods, many of which are used in operative procedures worldwide.

Dr. Arthur Rawlings
General Surgery Residence Program Director

Dr. Rawlings joined our team in 2010. He specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery for the Adrenal Gland, gallbladder, spleen, and the upper GI tract for GERD and achalasia. He also performs laparoscopic and open approaches for all types of abdominal wall hernias. Along with his MD, he has a Master of Divinity and has completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.

 

Dr. Donna Richardson

Dr. Richardson joined our health care team 2010. She specializes in women's health issues especially diseases of the breast. She is part of the Ellis Fischel Breast Cancer team.
