In addition to building our new expansion to University Hospital, which includes Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, we are in the process of updating our lobby at University Hospital. We are looking forward to using nature as our inspiration from the wood grain throughout to the colors selected. Everything picked was with our patients and families in mind. Take a look at what our new lobby looks like.

Let's take a look inside the expansion at Univeristy Hospital. When completed, we will have 596 glass panels, 246 massonry panels and over 2 million feet of cable. If you stretched all of the cable out and followed it in your car, you would end up at the Sears Tower in Chicago.

We sat down with David Foley, manager of hospitality at MU Health Care, to find out what patients are asking and what the answers are regarding the current construction of the patient care tower and new Ellis Fischel Cancer Center.
