Red Dress Pins Wear a free red dress lapel pin throughout the month of February to raise awareness and the importance of early detection of heart disease in women. Free pins are available at the information desks at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute, University Hospital, Women's and Children's Hospital and at other University of Missouri Health Care locations while supplies last.

Friday, Feb. 1 National Wear Red Day Wear red to show awareness and support for women's heart health. Send a picture of you and your coworkers, friends or family wearing red to marketing@health.missouri.edu.
Wed. Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. and Wed. Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. Cooking with a Cardiologist Hy-Vee on Nifong Dr. Kevin Dellsperger, MD will show you how making a small change can make a big impact on your heart health. Short talk follwed by a cooking demonstration. Please pre-register by calling 573-442-8595.

Thursday, Feb. 28 - 7 p.m. Heart of the Tiger Game Mizzou Arena University of Missouri Health Care will team up with the University of Missouri Athletic Department for the 2013 Heart of the Tiger game at noon on Thursday, Feb. 28. The MU women's basketball team will play South Carolina at Mizzou Arena.The Steps to a Healthy Heart winners will be announced at halftime.
