How will I be billed for my Radiology exam?
You can expect to receive two bills, one from University Hospital Patient Accounts and another from Physician Accounts. The hospital patient accounts bill includes a charge for the equipment, supplies and technical personnel. The physician accounts bill includes a charge for the Radiologist interpretation of your exam. It is possible that you may never meet the Radiologist during your exam. Not all radiology exams require a Radiologist to be present during the test.
