I am pleased to introduce you to the technologically advanced Missouri Digestive Health Center at University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, Missouri. Our mission at the Missouri Digestive Health Center is to provide a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach to digestive health. Our physicians, nurses, and researchers provide the best possible care to our patients by utilizing cutting edge technology, advanced research and effective patient education.

The Missouri Digestive Health Center offers six lines of service with a specialized team of physicians, nurses, and researchers who are highly trained and dedicated to digestive health. These lines of service include advanced and therapeutic endoscopy, colorectal cancer screening, liver diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, neuromuscular and swallowing disorders, and nutritional sciences.

The Missouri Digestive Health Center utilizes the latest technology and advanced equipment for highly technical diagnosis and treatment of complex digestive disorders. The result is fewer complications and superior patient care. Some of the highly advanced procedures we currently offer to our patients include endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), advanced endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and capsule endoscopy.

At the Missouri Digestive Health Center, our physicians and staff value patient privacy and strive to make scheduling convenient and efficient for our patients. Our newly renovated endoscopy suite at University Hospital offers patients completely private pre-operative and recovery rooms with easy access and state-of-the-art technology. Our highly trained nurses and physicians strive to offer prompt service to our patients and timely communication with referring physicians.
