Dr. Aneesh Tosh earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his ResidencyProgram at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his Fellowship Programat the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Tosh is the Director of the Adolescent Diabetes Obesity Program at Children's Hospital and the Pediatric & Adolescent Specialty Clinic. Dr. Tosh sees ADOBE patients in his clinic located at Children's Hospital Pediatric and Adolescent Specialty Clinic located at 402 Keene Street in Columbia.

The ADOBE program was developed as a prevention and management program to teach patients and their familes about healthy eating and exercise. The program provides a medical evaluation, nutritional counseling, access to physical activities and resources, and behavioral psychology services to encourage our youth to stay healthy. The ADOBE Team works with children and adolescents who have, or are at risk for, type 2 diabetes to educate them about the importance of nutrition and lifestyle choices. Patients with type 2 diabetes also receive appropriate diabetes education, diabetes-specific resource materials and diabetes health monitoring. During the initial visit, patients meet with Dr. Tosh,Elizabeth Freeman and Jill Schremp to determine the appropriate treatment plan. Elizabeth and Jill are Registered Dieticians with extensive experience with pediatric endocrinology and diabetes patients. The Team works closely with patients and familes to provide needed access to health recourses and Children's Hospital services.
